1.      Welcome

Eric Peterson called the meeting to order at 9:05.

 

2.      Open Discussion on Voting Questions

a.        What constitutes an organization/service?

b.       What if I belong to many different services?

c.        What if I cannot attend? Can I send an alternate? 

d.       Can one person vote more than once as a representative of different organizations?                                                                                                             

e.        How long is the term for the Executive Council?

f.         How is this geographically represented currently? 

g.        Should we have EMS vote for EMS, RN for RN, MD for MD, Admin for Admin?

h.        Popular vote versus 1 vote for 1 organization?

i.          ETC.

The above questions were received via email concerning the upcoming vote.  Time was taken to address these questions.  Those in attendance voted that those currently on the ballot will comprise the executive committee.  A specific vote for each representative area was then not needed.

  • Grace Tousignant and Jerry Worrick requested that their names be withdrawn from consideration.

 

 

 

 

4.  Length of Term on Executive Committee

Those in attendance voted that the term on the executive committee would be 2years.  Terms will start on January 1st.  Terms will be staggered so that one half of the terms expire on alternate years.  The first term will be the exception.  One half of the executive committee will have one year terms to begin the cycle.  Those assigned to one and two year committee terms will be determined at the first executive council meeting. 

5.  STAC Members Serving on the RTAC

A question was raised as to why STAC members could not serve on the executive council.  It was determined at the last meeting that STAC members would serve as an advisor.  Those in attendance voted to change this so that from this point forward STAC members may be nominated and serve on the executive council if elected.

6.  STAC Openings

There are currently three openings on STAC.  Two are RN positions and one is a hospital administrator/MD role.  If you are interested in serving please forward a letter of intent and a resume to Marianne Peck no later that December 20, 2002.

7.  RTAC Commitment List

If you have not yet notified Marianne Peck your organization/service/institutions RTAC preference please do so as soon as possible.  This list is vital for communication.  A current list was circulated.

8.  Executive Council Meeting

The executive council will be meeting on January 16, 2003 from 9:00 until 11:30 at County Rescue Services in Green Bay.

9.  Full RTAC Meeting       

 The next general membership RTAC meeting will be February 19, 2002 from 1:00 pm                                until 3:00 pm at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

10.  Official RTAC Name

STAC requested each RTAC submit its official name.  Those in attendance voted on the name NEW RTAC (NEW – Northeastern Wisconsin).
