| EAGLE
III offers a ground transport unit in addition to the helicopter and
fixed wing aircraft. The ground transport unit is equipped the same
as the aircraft and is staffed with the same medical personnel.
The ground unit is utilized when critical care level
transport is required, but the patient's condition does not warrant
an aircraft. It is also used when the distance traveled is not long
enough to save time by flying or when the weather is air
prohibitive. |
