Crew Information

The EAGLE III team, which is comprised of critical care trained paramedics, flight nurses, dispatchers, and pilots is prepared for all types of adult and pediatric medical emergencies. Advanced life support equipment onboard enables the crew to offer immediate stabilizing treatment for the patient enroute to any facility. 

  • Helicopter Pilots
    Minimum of 2000+ hours rotor wing flying
    Commercial pilot rated
    Instrument certified
    Air Methods employees

  • Fixed Wing Pilots
    Average of 8000+ fixed wing flying.  Several are retired airline captains.
    Commercial pilot rated
    Instrument rated
    Two pilots with minimum of one captain rated pilot on every flight
    Frontline Aviation employees
  • Nurses
    Minimum of five years experience in ED or ICU
    Additional training in advanced procedures
    TNS/TNCC, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/BTLS, CFRN
  • Paramedics
    Minimum of five years active duty as a paramedic
    ACLS, PALS, PHTLS/BTLS, and Certified Flight Paramedic
  • Medical Control
    Online medical control
  • Mechanic
    Dedicated to aircraft 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
    Aircraft factory certified
    Performs all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
    All componenets inspected, overhauled, or replaced based on specified time limits
    Air Methods employee
